Zrinski Mine

The weather is going to be cloudy on 7th of May 2017, with a slight chance of rain. The temperature in the mine is 12 degrees Celsius, so make sure to bring a jacket and an umbrella with you. We recommend wearing sport wear. It would be wise not to wear flimsy shoes since the mine floor may be uneven.

Transport - How to get to The Zrinski mine

From the mountain lodge Grafičar: The mine is located very close to the lodge – follow the signs!

By car: Follow the Sljeme road to the mountain lodge Grafičar and park your car there.

Public transport/on foot: Take the Sljeme bus from Mihaljevac to Tomislavov dom, and walk to the mountain lodge Grafičar along the road, or following the hiking trail no. 26.

On foot: Follow the educational trail Miroslavec from Šestinski Lagvić to Kraljičin zdenac, then cross the paved road and continue on hiking trail 1M all the way to Grafičar. From Zagorje take the hiking trail no. 46 from Gornja Bistra to Grafičar.

What foods and beverages should I bring?

1. Water (a lot of water) or some organic juices, however, you shouldn't drink soda drinks under any circumstances.

2. You should bring something sweet so that it provides you with the needed sugar in case of a suggar drop in your blood (if your blood sugar level drops, i.e. if you suffer from hypoglycaemia)

3. You should bring something nutritious like pistachio beans to have it as a healthy and energetic snack
