Dear Alexis,

I've heard that you suffer from anorexia, the nasty eating disorder and I believe I can help you. I know that lately you have been avoiding meals, but it has to stop. Your height and weight are showing that you are underweight. You can help yourself only if you want to. Try to stop comparing yourself with people form the magazines. You are beautiful in your own way. Instead of looking at your flaws try something that you are good at and you like doing (like singing or sport). Not only will it take your thoughts away from anorexia, but also it will boost your confidence. You can also talk to your friends and parents about your issue. You may well try eating healthily and take up taking exercise in- stead of not eating at all. You know that anorexia isn't a good way to lose weight and it is not going to help you be skinny in a healthy way. It can seriously damage your organs and teeth. Take care of your health and good luck.

Dear Alexis,

here is my suggestion - a balanced menu which you may find helpful:

A HEALTHY MENU FOR ALEXIS MENU

BREAKFAST Tea (brewed) – 2 calories in 1 cup 2 boiled eggs (size: medium) - 136 calories 2 slices of white toast – 290 calories 1 slice of low fat cheese – 51 calories

LUNCH 1 cup of shredded or chopped lettuce- 8 calories Steak 300g- 753 calories 2 boiled potatoes (size: medium)- 422 calories

SNACK Banana (size: medium)- 105 calories

DINNER Cooked fish (1 fillet) – 127 calories 1 cup of cooked vegetables- 147 calories

TOTAL : 2,041 calories

THE IMPORTANT THING IS YOU FOCUS ON EATING - BUT CHANGE THE ATTITUDE TOWARDS FOOD AND IT WILL PROVE YOU CAN CONTROL YOUR FEARS - WHATEVER THEY ARE :)

Andrea
